Shaiya Maps

New Release

Shaiya Maps has just been updated, unfortunately all waypoints had to be removed as they were incompatible with the new system.

Several improvments had been made:

• Adding Coordinates is now just a point-and-click system.
• More maps have been added.
• All the monsters have been listed as of Shaiya Release 41
• The Y-coordinate have been removed as it represents height and is not necessary.
• The moderation system has had minor changes.

Introduction

Welcome to Shaiya Maps, this site is dedicated to assist locating areas of interest to Shaiya players such as where Monsters are found.

A few things should be mentioned to anyone helping this system:

• In the Shaiya game client, you can view the coordinates by pressing 'H' on your keyboard and they appear in the top-left corner.
  
• You need to add the Location of the Monster Spawn Point, not where you attacked or killed it.
  

Map Locator

The map locator is a generic location system, which can be used to visually mark areas of interest to the end user.

It has a permission based system, which enable users to add the bulk of the data, while moderators can modify the data as needed. This is an ideal model for applications that require heavy amounts of data entry, and a high level of management.

It's demo application is the 'Shaiya Map Locator' which enables people to locate monsters and quest spots with a fine-grained level of accuracy.

If you add any data, you have chosen to participate in contributing to the system.
You will be directly responsible for keeping the information accurate entered, according to your access level.
It is a privilege not your right to use and modfiy the data on this system.
Those found to be abusing or deemed attempting to abuse the system extreme measures will be taken against them, including up to having their IP's and/or ranges blocked at the server without any prior warning. This means you will be able to not use any services that we have to offer.
